No matter what your wedding date may be, there are wedding centerpieces to match every season. Using seasonally themed wedding centerpieces is a great way to add more character and charm to your reception.

If you are planning a Spring wedding, think bright colors. When most people think of Spring they imagine birds and butterflies along with fields full of fresh flowers. It is entirely possible to pull those visions into your wedding by adding them to your centerpieces. Flowers are a great choice, daffodils and tulips are classic spring flowers, and look lovely added to any centerpiece. If you want to be a little more unique, terra cotta pots filled with a single flower are also great for centerpieces. There is also an option to use tree seedlings and seed packets in your centerpiece. These are definitely unique, and allow the guests to take something home, in a since you are combining your faovors and centerpieces, a great way to save money.

Summer brings with it more options for centerpieces. For a one-of-a-kind centerpiece, you can use beach pails partially filled with sand and shells with a candle placed in the middle. If you are having a beach themed wedding you may even want to consider using straw hats decorated with ribbon and flowers, or even add a few flower leis into the centerpiece. Summer is also the season for tons of fresh fruit, so why not incorporate that into your centerpiece as well. Tall glass vases filled with brightly colored fruit are a stunning addition to any table. Also in the summer spirit are picnic baskets, especially if your wedding falls around the fourth of July. Place a picnic basket filled with red, white, and blue shredded paper and a few small flags, for a festive centerpiece,

Some of which are white and orange. If you want to use pumpkins, but are not happy with the color, you can always paint them. Several small pumpkins lined down the center of your tables with candles placed in between gives a beautiful visual. Terra Cotta pots full of mums also look very seasonal. For a more dramatic centerpiece you could combine mums with pumpkins. If you are having a Halloween wedding, and want to have very unique centerpieces, you could use pumpkins with pumpkin carving kits.

Winter is a wonderful season for a wedding, and has countless possibilities for centerpieces. Deep reds and greens work well. Glass bowls or vases full of cranberries look great. You could also add a candle in with the cranberries for an even more vibrant look. Wreathes made from natural material such as pine cones or greenery are also lovely. Of course we have to think of the Christmas season when we think of winter, and if you are having a Christmas wedding you could use gingerbread houses for a whimsical feel.

There are so many possibilities when it comes to deciding on your wedding centerpieces. Consider it as a chance to bring even more of your personality into your wedding.
